As a poet, anarchist, and former founder of The Icelandic Pirate Party, Birgitta is slated to join CloudFest to speak to her thoughts on how Europe, and in turn, the world-at-large, can fight for democracy and human rights in the digital age. Specializing in 21st-century lawmaking with a focus on direct democracy, freedom of expression, information and digital privacy, she stands in a unique position to build bridges between governmental bodies and civil society with regard to practical policies in the digital age.
